Belgian shipping company CMB.TECH will become the sole shareholder of a green hydrogen project in Namibia, after acquiring the majority stake of a local partner.
The vessel operator that offers hydrogen and ammonia to customers is buying the 51% stake of Cleanergy Solutions Namibia held by Ohlthaver & List Group, the Namibian firm said in a statement Sunday, without providing the value of the transaction. The deal is pending regulatory approval by the Namibian Competition Commission.
