In a notable shift, exchange-traded funds (ETFs) that invest in collateralized loan obligations (CLOs) experienced their first outflows since April, signaling rising concerns among investors regarding credit quality.
Last week, CLO ETFs faced an outflow of approximately $516 million, as reported by analysts from JPMorgan Chase & Co., led by Rishad Ahluwalia. This marks the first significant withdrawal in nearly six months and contrasts sharply with the average weekly inflow of around $421 million observed over the past year.
