President Donald Trump says the AUKUS pact between the US, Australia and the UK is “moving along very rapidly,” signaling he’ll allow the Biden-era partnership to go ahead even as his administration reviews whether to keep it going.
“It was made a while ago, and nobody did anything about it,” Trump said during a meeting with Australia Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. “It was going too slowly. Now we’re starting, we have it all set.”
