Whirlpool Corp. reported third-quarter revenue results that topped Wall Street expectations, driven by strong North American demand, even as the company continues to face challenges with oversupply on the marketplace and ongoing uncertainty about tariffs.

The company, which operates brands such as KitchenAid and Maytag, anticipates the full impact of tariffs to be felt next year. A significant increase in Asian imports during the first half of the year before tariffs were fully implemented led to an oversupply, Chief Financial Officer Jim Peters said in an interview Monday.
