The latest report from the Conference Board indicates that US consumer confidence has declined for the third consecutive month in October, reflecting growing concerns about the economy and the job market.
The consumer confidence index fell to 94.6, marking its lowest point since April, down from a revised figure of 95.6 in September. This figure was below the median forecast of 93.4 from a Bloomberg survey of economists.
