Banco Sabadell SA is asking Spain’s securities market supervisor to demand extra disclosures from certain investors who accept BBVA SA’s €16.8 billion ($19.7 billion) offer to acquire it.

In a letter sent on Monday, Sabadell asked the regulator CNMV to ask all institutional investors who publicly announce that they will accept BBVA’s offer to disclose their full stakes in Sabadell, according to a copy of the letter seen by Bloomberg News. Sabadell also wants them to disclose whether their decision is irrevocable or not and whether they are selling all their shares or only some.
