Ex-Generation Partners Launch Equity Fund Targeting $1 Billion

Resolution Investors LLP, which is run by former executives from Al Gore’s Generation Investment Management, unveiled a global equity fund focused on climate strategies and targeting $1 billion of assets in the coming years.
The goal is to deliver investment returns that are 2-to-3 percentage points above the MSCI World Index, net of fees, Resolution said in a statement on Tuesday. The fund has $25 million of startup capital, an amount Resolution expects will grow to about $200 million within the first year.
